What the check covers
Mirroring the registry itself: registered licence (name, Unified Social Credit Code, legal representative), operating status (active, revoked, abnormal-operations list), business scope (is manufacturing actually in it — many "factories" are registered as trading companies), registered capital and dates, and the penalty and dishonesty lists. We also compare the registered address against the address you were given — the classic mismatch that unmasks a middleman.

What this is not
A registry check is documentary. It does not visit the site, count the machines, or watch production — it establishes that the legal entity is real, alive, and registered to do what it claims. It is the correct first gate because it costs little and kills the worst risks early; deeper diligence is a separate conversation once the entity survives this one.
Honest limits, stated
Registry data is official but not omniscient: a clean record is necessary, never sufficient.
